Co-ownership Agreement & Advice

$350 per person

If you are purchasing a property with others, it is strongly recommended that you put in place a legal agreement between yourself and your co-owners to protect everyone's interests.

PodProperty is delighted to assist with your Co-Ownership Agreement AND to provide you with a letter of advice prepared by PodProperty's lawyers explaining the Co-Ownership Agreement.

Lawyers would normally charge thousands of dollars to prepare a co-ownership agreement and provide this advice but you can purchase both for only $350 per person (incl. GST).

The letter of advice provides an overview of this complicated area of law. It explains the standard PodProperty Co-Ownership Agreement in plain English so you understand your rights and obligations.

Legal advice & drafting
$250 per hour

It may be necessary to tailor the PodProperty Co-ownership Agreement to suit your particular circumstances.

Normally, lawyers would charge around $300-$400 per hour for this work, which could take several hours. The great news for you is that our specialist lawyers have agreed to reduce their fees for providing this legal advice and tailoring the agreement to $250 (excl GST) per hour.

PodProperty does not charge to arrange your finance.

Conveyancing
$1200-$1500

Conveyancing is the process of transferring the ownership of a property from one person to another. Depending on the complexity of the conveyance, our conveyancing partners will usually charge between $1200 and $1500 (ex GST) to carry out the legal transfer of your property to you and your co-owners. Many law-firms charge per contract reviewed - our price includes unlimited review of purchase contracts (no matter how many times you get trumped!!).

Disbursements, searches and building reports incur additional charges, which will be explained to you by your conveyancer at the relevant time.
